Is there a recommended "minimum" C rating for stock racing? Is the Reedy shorty with a 25C rating going to be competitive?

W3 had two heats of mod stadium truck, and 1 heat of stock truck during this points series. Same for SRS, they had two heats of mod and 2 of stock truck.

Edit: Warehouse 3 also had a F main if I remember correctly for 17.5 buggy- this is the points series that is between both SRS and W3.

292 entries and counting for Cactus.

Won't be long now. Can't wait.

Yes, which includes cycling/charging 100c batteries at 40 amps, gearing the shit out of them, running motors at 190*, ruining batteries, electronics etc and not to mention spending endless amounts of money on weight savings. It's out of hand. It used to be expensive to race modified class, now you have guys with half the motor running within a second per lap as mod at our local tracks.

17.5 is a fun class. With the new B5M lite coming out, it should drop the cost of the class a bit. Have you not heard? 40 amp cycling is good for the batteries...

I'm sure you are. I just find it funny that you guys are 'charging' batteries at such high voltages, so that you can get maximum punch from your batteries, and that off-road now competes on tracks that have more traction than a on-road track. Seems backward to me, but that's how things are now.
