Not gospel just smart business sense W3 is a couple miles away to run club racing on the same schedule will make it much harder on both of the tracks. Also alot of the guys, myself included work on saturdays which is why I end up racing at SRS most of the time. Who knows maybe if there is enouph onroad interest they can get another timing system and run them at the same time, but I would think that would be very hard and adding it to the schedule would be just like wildcat said it would make it too long of a day for the most part right now we get out of there between 6 and 7 on a normal day.

there are at least 7 1/12 scale racers in the Phoenix area alone, not counting those from Tucson. several of us run 2nd classes as well like touring car and F1. I think what is most important is to not let the class structure get out of hand. pick 4 to 6 classes, not 20 or run what you brung like at HTG.

SRS is clay slicks lots use panthers, some use the smoothies or a clay compound and sand it down to a slick.

I borrowed a set of panther clays ones and didnt like them. The foams are pretty stiff. maybe they would be good after break in. I would get the new Proline prime clays.

279 entries and counting for Cactus,
Looking good. Hope everyone that plans on making it does so.
Still have lots of prep work left, but I think I'll be ready mostly. Don't normally run slicks indoors, that should be a fun challenge in itself.

Stock buggy is the biggest class. ST has been getting less than 10 drivers normally. That might change with the release of the T5M.

Does SRS allow 8th scale e-Buggy on the track for even if only practice days?
