2014 $85
2013 $85
2012 $95

Using my amazing power of deductive logic... I'm guessing it will be in the $85-95 range, as it has been for a while. Whatever it is, you can subtract about $200 of tires off of it so in a way it's free this year.

Still not an excuse to charge that much. Most major races are in the $50 range except Nationals and that's because they have to fly out and house the RMT committee. I'd like to run 2 classes but Can barely afford one if that.

Yup. It is. I was just expressing my desire to have a lower entry fee this year.

If you guys know you want to attend this race why don't you put aside (save) some money every month to pay for entry fees and tires, etc.?

Heck, I wish that the annual race that I like to attend every year has a $80 or $90 something entry.

haha, I have wanted to run this race since I first saw it in a magazine when I was a kid. My 10 year old daughter wants to run it also. So, I will piss away the money on entry fees, because I cant take it with me when I am dead, but I have give my kid some memories hanging out with her dad.

Just because you guys can afford it doesn't mean everyone else can.

That is true of many things. Some people can afford 10k sq ft homes, I cant. I can afford a 14k car, others cant. The things I cant afford, I dont bother with. The things I can afford, I sometimes throw money at. Not everyone's income is the same, so of course not EVERYONE can afford it.

I didn't mean to imply that everyone could... but I kind did by saying that one could "save" their $$ in order to pay for their race fee. That's what I do to go to the IIC (Vegas carpet race). I wish that race was $95 a class, I wouldn't need to make so many other sacrifices in order to go.

Early signups this year you say?

Nice. I'll be ready for sure. A little bit ahead of schedule budget wise, but it'll work. I'll just put off a couple of other things until Feb.

As for the entry fee costs, it's all relative to me. Still come out cheaper in entry fees for two classes than going to the DNC (which I do love as well) or a host of other races I'd like to hit up. I won't lie though, I do miss the 60 dollar single class entry fee that also covered a motor and/or set of tires for some events back in the day. It's all good though, I'm in no matter what. Committed I are, or maybe I should be committed, but I digress.......................
