I don't know why everyone is so hi one the clay tracks in this area. I have raced W3, coyotes, sdrc, ocrc, and im not imprerssed. All of the facilties are outstanding, the dirt IMO is marginal. You want good dirt. call addiction rc or IRCR in Utah. They have the best dirt I have ever raced on. They dont water it at all from the time the racing starts till it ends for that day (you sweep it after ever race) unlike these other tracks that water every 3-4 heats depending on what class is coming up making it slick and un drivable. And yet you can still use the same tires for several race days.

Clay is nice for the tire budget but honestly, the traction isn't all it's cracked up to be. But, the consistency is. It's only money, right? Dirt is heavy. Trucks are expensive.

I "heard" SDRC was making moves for the WCRC dirt...

Makes sense. SDRC seems to have more dirt than clay. Still a far drive between the two though. I'm willing to bet once they price out trucking it down there, they'll back out.

The Chizzle is wise...

I'm friends with Scott on FB. He posted that he priced it out and it was like over 25k to buy it and haul it. He said thanks but no thanks. And that's a 2 hour drive.

Bringing it to AZ would run well over 30k I'm sure. I'd rather they just put that into a new track. This is Arizona, plenty of Clay layin around. Just gotta sift it.

I live up here in Utah and would agree. I've raced in ID, Vegas and AZ and the dirt here is pretty darn good. Whatever is done I sure hope you don't sugar every 3 weeks....what's the point. Buy the right dirt and you won't have to worry about it. If anyone wants me to get some samples let me know. I can talk to the owners up here.

DaveB-that is an awesome idea...we need a sample big enough to cover the new/future SRS track, W3 and the pending east side track, that should do it

Today at 5:00pm SRS is hosting a trophy race, so be sure to head out there for a fun night of racing! Track opens at 3:00 and trophies to the top 3 in each class.

Exactly my point...I had no plans today until this morning and probably would have came out if something was posted sooner. It really doesn't take much effort.

I'm sorry I could not accommodate you better. I am not an employe for SRS. I am a privateer who club races there. If you have an issue with the late notice, please call SRS and tell them to make a flyer next time at: +1 (480) 945-2186.

How does a person get on Team G Racing? Is there requirements for sponsorship?

Hey G, I think that's his point. We should not have to call a place of business to ask them if they want our money. They need to do a little better at getting the word out. That's all. Not trying to stir the pot, just sayin
