I agree also on 17.5 and Mod.

Instead of having Novice, Novice open wheel, Super Novice, Sportsman 13.5 Buggy, Sportsman 13.5 SC, Expert Super Stock 13.5 buggy, Expert Super Stock 13.5 Short course, Super Expert Superstock, Mod Short Course, Mod Buggy, Super mod novice expert mixed 4wd and Stadium.

IMO Short course doesn't even need to be split between stock and mod. Just have open short course. Then give everyone that complains about not having those extra classes a hug and a participation ribbon and then race these classes:

Novice
Stock Buggy
Mod Buggy
Open SC
Open Stadium
Open 4wd

This will make for full classes with probable B mains, good racing and when you win you'll feel like you earned it on the track instead of by just showing up. I think alot of people either dont know, or have forgotten how fun it is to have B and C mains. Yes you might not be able to beat the guys in the A main but winning a B main and getting a bump can be just as exciting for you and plus you get a free race out of it.

Just my 2cents.

Where's that silly 'like' button? Or is that on Bookface? One of the best posts I've read in a good while right here. In my perfect world I would add: 5 minute qualifiers, 6 Minute C, 8 Minute B and FULL 10 MINUTE A MAIN FOR ANY CLASS THAT HAS 8 OR MORE ENTRY'S.

PS If Mod buggy wants/needs 6 min quals I'm cool with that.

Spot on. id rather finish last in a full heat than "win" a heat of 4 cars

A few got on the mic but mostly Adam
5 heats total
3 heats with 6+
2 heats with 4 or less

First round was dry as expected since it was hot and breezy.

Second round sucked. Track was only watered before heat 1. By heat 4 it was super dry and dusty, terrible, no grip, tires getting roasted.

Main got water before race 4. Track was a tiny bit wet for the first couple laps then it was spectacular, killer traction everywhere. Race 5 was also had great grip everywhere but got a little dry in the final 2 min. Still good grip just had to be a little careful.

New layout is awesome when watered. Tons of spots to pass and lines wide enough to go side by side and multiple lines through some corners. A great layout for racing that you dont notice in quals.

Spot on and very well said but it means very little here on rctech. If you want your opinions to be heard you guys need to talk to Adam directly about it while at the track.

I totally agree TJ. I think most people would enjoy the process of working through lower mains and seeing 'progress' that way, if they were give. The opportunity to do so. It's fun to win, but trust me it's way more fun to work your way up and improve and then one day you'll go from the c main to the B, and eventually make the AMain suddenly you find yourself up on the stand with the fast guys and that is a great feelng. Then you go from there and just learn from them and try to get better.

Trevor is right as always, we need to stop venting online and just tell the track owners what the racers want.

Only at tracks that say it is. Most places its considered super stock.

Is SRS ever open earlier in the day for practice? Im tires of driving to the West side for practice. It would be nice to have a place to go on my days off like I could do at Glitch in the early afternoon.

I agree with you and Trevor that approaching him should be the logical way to address this, tried it last Wed and again on Saturday. I know of at least two other people that also tried to discuss the classes with him. We can't force the guy to listen but we can figure out how we all should sign up so we not only have quality racing but we also cover the track with marshals for the heats behind us which is what DumpTruck McKinley was eluding to. My post about the 3 car heats was certainly a vent, it was about 3 paragraphs before I started hammering on the delete key. But when you start to see a pattern of reasonable frustration then maybe it isn't a vent, maybe its a genuine concern or problem being identified. Maybe we try the reverse psychology and ask for more classes

Bro, I kept trying to tell you but didn't know how. That was a marshal cone that you were talking to all night Saturday. Seemed like you guys were having a good talk so I just let you be.
