Yes. the sugar never really came off the surface. It was great for Cactus but undesireable for club racing. April and May are the best months to be racing at SRS looking forward to the new track!

Wow, what a bummer. Such a cool track. I know quite a few people who were looking forward to getting some club racing in on that layout.

I raced there this past weekend and the first race was perfect and then all the other races we lost traction. I look forward to racing there again soon.

Default TRACK REBUILD

Yes, we are planning to do a track rebuild soon.

But, no we have not set an exact date yet. We are still making arrangements for equipment, people and so on.

When the date is set we will post up the information for all our racers to see.

I did like the layout. One of the best there in a long time. Hopefully they can retain some of the elevation change. Being that is is April already The window for nice racing days is closing. Hopefully the redo is sooner than later. (Easy for me to say, right Ricky )

I will be very sad to see the layout go, it's one of the very funnest layouts I have ever raced on and by far my favorite SRS layout. Cant give Humpty and the whole crew enough credit for how awesome it looked at cactus and how fun it was to run on.

Sadly the fact is the sugar just isn't going away and now the track is now caught between having amazing traction and terrible traction at the same time and all the while its devouring tires at an insane rate. I can see the need to change it. It's still worth going out and racing club nights, it's a super fun layout and just bring some old tires.

I'm sure SRS will come up with something good for us and I agree with John, I would love to seem you guys keep some of that elevation. Keep us posted!

I did too hoping it would have got better... I liked not taking the jump on the left and sneak underneath to the jump before the back straight. The bowl was cool but it was spin out city there lol

How was racing last night, traction and tire wear?

Wondering if W3 is taking away some of the racers.
