SO, who's in favor of restructuring the classes?

To clear up any possible confusion on my above post.

Anyone besides me in support changing to Stock (17.5) and Mod (open) instead of the way too many classes there are now?

I would love to see 17.5 classes running at SRS. I think the class makes for some fun racing.

Putting one in my buggy was a great decision for me personally. If anyone else wants to run it I'm ready but I'm fine running with the 13.5 guys also.

I'm Confused

is that a Modded 17.5 or a dialed down 13.5

Or do i need a good old fashioned canned 17t motor from the day. Think i have 6 of those still

Yes Sir you are correct. SRS has offered 17.5 Buggy for a long time.

As a track SRS is just a facilitator for the RC community.

The community dictates what classes SRS has on a club night. We just give them a place to race.

So as I said. I would love to see 17.5 buggy class at SRS!

I think it would be great to eliminate the sportsman/expert classes and just go 17.5/13.5/mod in buggy and short course. Or even just 17.5 and Mod like Trevor has suggested. Problem is most nights one or all of those classes is going to get combined due to lack of entries which is how we wound up with sportsman/expert in the first place, because almost everyone was running 13.5 so it was just one giant class. But atleast it would be there for people who want to run a specific motor when getting ready for an event.

If there is a stadium class it could just be Mod and if there starts being more you could break that up too.

Point is you can draw it up however you want but it really comes down to who is going to show up.

No one is eliminating 13.5 it's just being combined with mod as it should be. I think it's been proven time and time again that today's 13.5s and current lipos can run mod times.
