SRS - Scottsdale The un-official racers thread

Well, 2wd buggy has never gone away. if it ever does, I will probably quit. I believe it to be the best 1/10 electric class. I would really like to try 1/8 e buggy, as I think that class could be awesome, but the cost will probably never allow it to take off. As far as teching goes, I have not seen that in years at a club race. Hell most classes seem to be run what you brung. Back in the early 90's they weighted, checked the width length and motor after every heat and main. ahh, the good ole days. These days I just assume everyone is cheating. lol, I saw a sc10 guy running in the stock class here complain that he could not make the double, so he runs a 8.5 in the stock class. he still finishes dead last, but yeah.
I recently ran in So Cal and noticed 1/8 electric is pretty big at some tracks. I think if people started to show up at SRS with 1/8 electrics it would become popular again.

No real rules yet but 13.5 motors.. I dont think anyone is using boost.
There also is a B-mod class which is B4.1 ready to run with asc speedo and motor and radio and round cells..
Also a EDM class Mcallister EDM bodies with any offroad buggy based car. 13.5 motor no boost and any lipo and any speedo.
Then we have the sprint cars any car any motor any speedo!
