Matt, you are correct and I apologize...I intended on posting a followup question not the same question. With that said, I'm guessing one can get by with M3 Holeshots (M3) as well? Also, are there any recommendations on foam? Lastly, is tire wear minimal when the track is wet? will one set of tires be sufficient for a club race?

Thanks again for your help!

Tried all day yesterday from work and still down this morning. But a 500 entrant limit should allow us a few weeks to get signed up. Last year the race did fill up until near the race date.
But still a pain.

The RCSIGNUP website is up and running. Signed up for my two classes.

M3's will be sufficient as well. Stock foam from and rear and you should be fine with 1 set for a nights worth of racing. If you practice alot maybe a new set of rears for the main.

Can someone point me in the right direction for an SC10 setup for this coming Wednesdays club night? I'll be traveling for work and will be bringing my gear with me. What tires usually work and in which compound? I guess I'll buy myself a chair and table and leave it with my friend. Thanks

Aka gridiron, pro line sniper, jc Double d. All in super soft. Are good here. Maifields setup at rc10 is a good starting point. Track is med grip, relatively smooth(med smooth) and watered regularly. Hope it helps

Hey blokes,

Quick question? , is there anyone around here that is familiar with the stock carried at your hobby town store? Shoot me a pm if you are.

I'd rather buy a few things over there then carry them over from here.

Cheers

John

Default RCSIGNUP

Folks:
RCSIGNUP works pretty well. One thing-after you pay- Rick has to do some steps to turn on the "paid-yes" symbol on your entry. He will do them as soon as he can but give him a couple of days before worrying about it.
The RCSIGNUP system is pretty automatic until that step.

Just let us cautious folks know.

Ugh, frustrating day at the track... (did I say day? I meant hour)

Finally got my Novak GTB2 13.5 brushless setup. Was stoked to try it out and FIRST lap of the first race, bam, my battery connection solder broke off. Not exactly surprising because that was my first time soldering anything but before it broke, it was clear that I was not even close to having the correct gearing for SRS.

I was just running the stock gearing in the HPI Blitz which is 18/88.

What are you guys running with Novak 13.5 brushless? Like I said, when I was doing practice laps the big double in front was totally out of the question.

Any advice? Or is there something I need to do with the ESC to get some more punch?

adding up to $47,500!!!!! On top of parts/tires, etc...

When you refer to the Maifield setup, are you referring to the NorCal setup or the Leisure Hours setup?
