Hello, er body. I'm new to Phoenix and looking for the racing scene. Whats the bigger classes ran at SRS? I used to run mod 2wd buggy and mod 2wd SC but SC was to much of a bash fest for me at my old track. I plan on coming down on Wed to check it out.

2wd buggy, 13.5 or mod. If there's not enough mods we run with 13.5

Yup, 13.5 is always a safe bet. Bring yer mod stuff as well, its a lil more hit/miss but never hurts to be prepared.

SC is usually pretty clean and the ringers here are smoking fast...... I'm fairly new but everyone at SRS is very cool and most are blazing fast. I grew up in the midwest and had no clue there was this much talent in one area, welcome to AZ and I promise you'll be challanged in a good way out here.

I forgot to add... mod buggy (or 13.5) has some of the best competition on the planet on a weekly basis, I love watching those guys turn it on.

Default Battle In The Desert Points Series

Thanks again to everyone that has come out to support the Battle in the Desert Point series races with Scottsdale RC Speedway and Competition Hobbies. The points are posted for all 4 rounds with totals on the SRS web site. I look forwarded to seeing everyone at SRS this Saturday for Round 5 of the series. I also wanted to remind everyone that the Finals will be hosted at CH on Sunday July 24th. We will be doing the award ceremony after the completion of the races.

Hey Keoni, The results are showing a 0 for me on Round 1 for 13.5 buggy...I have raced all the rounds in the series in 13.5. In round 1 I signed up for 13.5 in the series and Truck NOT in the series. Maybe the reason for the confusion.

Can I jump into the race on Saturday or will I have needed to be a part of it from the beginning?
