Thank again to everyone that came out for the 2nd round of the Wednesday night worlds point series. 65 racers made for a late night but it was a good show. I want to thank Aaron for running a great program and making sure the track was perfect. With 110deg weather its almost impossible to keep the track watered but he busted his ass to make sure it was good all night. I will get the points posted in the next day or so.

I truly appreciate everyone for coming out in this miserable heat to show your support!

I 2nd what Keoni says, Aaron did a great job keeping the track up and keeping things flowing.

As always I had a great time. It was my 1st attempt at 13.5 buggy. I can see I have a LONG way to go before understand them. I'm not sure if it's setup or just that they're so much more responsive than my short course but it's like learning to run an RC all over again.

There IS such a thing as Karma...

Today while messing around w/my buggy I decided to toss it down on the carpet and harass the dog. (Here's where the Karma comes in) All of the sudden, SMOKE pours out of my buggy body. It seems my Novak Kinetic decided to let the magic smoke out.
Below is the result.

Anyone have recommendations on what to do when this happens? Do I send it to Novak and see if it can be repaired? Do I just use it as a paperweight now? No need for any "Get a Tekin, etc..." jokes. I'm well aware of the history of this particular ESC.

Thanks for the info.

My temporary fix below.
This Esc is so much taller I couldn't mount it on the side. I had to mount it on the battery strap.

Good times Wednesday night. Thanks to the SRS crew for the pristine track and program. It stinks that only 3 Nitro guys show up to race but I'm sure the electric guys dont mind.

That's a long time from signup to race start!
