For those that may have forgotten. Friday night practice is the bomb .... cooler temps, watered track, timing is setup and you can check every lap you ran plus there is a good group of clowns to run with. A little extra practice never hurt anyone.... lord knows some need it more than others.... (Talking about 4wd 10.5 guys mainly)

Wow...no love!

Seriously Aaron is correct it's a great time to come out and practice. Track is watered from 6-10pm and with the scoring system setup it's easy to check lap time when you make changes. Most of the guys like Humpty and Jake have more time to help with setups and motor/ speedo settings on Friday so please come out and take advantage.

I think she wore her out- was fast asleep in no time (Steph that is LOL)! Had a great time and was good to see Steph back out there racing after her near 8 month break I think I heard her say on the way home lastnight that she wanted to come back out next Saturday!!!! Dang if all I had to do was get a controller back in her hand to get back up there when we could, I'd have done it a long time ago! LOL

Thanks to McKinley for all your help with the set-up for her car, Paul for letting us borrow the transponder, and everyone else for routing Steph on! Was a blast!

See ya next Saturday! Can't wait!

Hey Ray and Yottie

I tried 24/77 but it didnt mesh close enough so did 25/83 at zero timing with sphere set at #4 profile and it had no bottom end to speak of Bumped timing to 20 degrees punch was a little better with motor coming off at high 130s.
Ima try and go up 2 teeth on the pinion. Help me out on this I cant remember.... Higher pinion better top end Lower pinion better torque correct?

If that is true I need to use the 77 spur?

Thanks for your help guys

jake if you have no bottom end..gear it down 2 teeth..not up..and advancing the timing is not going to give you punch so to speak..try 23 or 24/ 83 or 82 whatever the spur is on the blitz..i forgot

My Blitz ran pretty well with a 23/83 set-up. Motor was at about 164*.

Normally I run a 23/88 and the temps are at around 130*
