Hoops, that SUCKS! Post on some of the other local race threads too if you haven't already done so - maybe someone will see them at another track or something. I'm on Craigslist everyday, so I'll keep an eye out there. Check your local pawn shops too. Probably some crappy neighborhood kids though. Good luck man.

Thanks man, I appreciate it! I think it may of been some of the neighborhood kids but who knows. LUCKILY I have the RTR Blitz, ESE, my son's slash and the 8th scale in our home office.

Thinking back on it, I was pretty dumb leaving them out there...all cleaned up and sitting on the table.

Default Pro 2 conversions

Folks:
There are a number of Pro 2 conversions that are becoming available. For Losi XXX-T there will be Team CRC SCT conversion and Team Exotek SC conversion. There is the X Factory SCX 60 that may come.
In Pro 4 CKRC MT2SC is coming.

Two questions, will they be legal at SRS? Second should the one off's meet the spirit of Pro 2 in club racing. Major events are another matter.

Thoughts?

Thanks
Martin

I wouldnt do that...It will scare the thief away from any of the tracks and he'll never get it back. I say if someone sees it, to contact Hoops immediately and have him come straight over.

Martin, the kit from CRC is ROAR and IFMAR legal so I don't see there being any problem as far as club racing it as far as everything but electronics goes, but you already know the regulations there. And I believe that all the kits are supposed to be IFMAR and ROAR legal. I'm considering buying the CRC kit for my XXXT Graphite. Its cheap, legal, durable.

Mike:
I know a few 'one of kind' trucks race occasionally. My thought is that more exotic and perhaps costly trucks are coming which could create a small group of "haves" and a much larger group of "have nots" which will shortly kill this class.

SRS has seen a number of classes become popular over the past few years then promptly die.
I fully understand the ebb and flow of racer's interests. Just wondering if Pro 2 can be kept alive for a significant amount of time.

Yes, ROAR is the governing body that SRS uses for larger races. But when did you see a car weighed for a club race? Depending on how you read the SRS Pro 2 rules a modified chassis would not be legal due to the impact on the weight of the truck.
Personally I could buy the parts to create an top of the line truck (I know not the driving skill) but is this what we want this class to become?
