Latley my motors are taking a beating (it is summer). Gotta go back to some conservitive gearing though. I've toasted 2 motors recently and a GTB.

If I'm not mistaken too, you gear a Novak a little higher than a Hacker anyway. Anyhoo, I'm stickin with the 78/25 to start as you suggested Mike. I'm done cooking my electronics.

I've never had issues with the Novak motors as much as I am with the Hacker stuff. Not baggin Hacker, it's just a little too coincdidental (seriously...I've never spelled that word until now).

My 10.5 is a novack motor that is why I went to humpty to ask about gearing. But I also don't blame you for wanting to gear more conservative it gets expensive burning motors up.

Mark you going to have your slash ready for saturday?

For the new track lay out what would be a good shock oil weight to go with for my b4 seem to bottom out more now then it did on the old track. I was using 30 allaround brown in front and black in the rear. Thanks in advance

I have a question for those running AE T4. I havent raced electric in years and just picked one up. Whats a good starting point gearing wise for 10.5?
