Default Slash "Spec" class?

I knew there had to be a thread out there somewhere for SRS. I finally stumbled onto this thank God.

I haven't raced since the early 80's and really want to get back into it again after flying planes for so long. The Slash looks to be the most cost effective way to do it. My truck should be here Friday. I know the last thing you want is another rolling chicane but I promise to try to stay out of the way.

How many trucks typically show up for a normal Slash spec race?

Are there any beginner heats or are we put in there to terrorize the good drivers?

13.5 brushless motors. Are they prevalent or mostly stock Titans? If the stock motors don't hold up then brushless could save money over time. What brushless brands are most common in the class at this track?

Being out of works means I have to fund this by selling off my cars from the 80's on ebay. Hopefully I'll find a job soon so I can be a regular racer.

Joe

There is basically the box stock Slash Spec class, then Pro2 where you get to modify them a bit. Here ya go.....

http://www.scottsdalercspeedway.com/...ce%20Rules.pdf

As far as people showing up, sometimes 3 like last night, some times there are 10. At the points series there was a full class of Slash, and full class of Pro2. You never know.

I bring mine everytime and just fill it out. Low showing I just race something else. Big showing? Then it's one of my favorite cars to race.
