How does being on a team with a few sponsors mean that I will have one? Buying one for me is no issue, but I am sure there will be a few people that cant just go out and drop 100$ on one. So seeing how my question was to the guys at SRS ... Enough said.

I agree, But I just got into the hobby maybe 2 months ago and have been buying all the stuff I cant really get by without.. So its kinda been putting the transponder on the back burner. Now that we need to have them I will buy one.

SRS News-

New changes to the SRS race program starting Sept 1st 2009- Over the last year we have been unable to get our House AMB transponders replaced or repaired. Because of this SRS has decided to switch our transponder system completely over to AMB personals. Starting September 1st 2009 SRS will require all racers to have their own personal AMB transponder. To help with this transition we will be offering them at cost to our local racers.

This info has been posted on our web site for months. Here are some links to help you.
We should have more in the store soon.
