Well Bill it's flattering to know that you feel that the RC world in AZ is so heavily impacted by what I write. And I can agree with you on one thing, after your rants and shouting this week its safe to say that you win the award for keyboard commando for trying to control what is said on an internet chatroom. As if that were even possible; congrats.

And in case you were unaware, writing in all caps on the internet is most often considered to be shouting, yelling, and generally a show of aggression or anger not fun or jest. Just a quick tip from MrMcKnowitall.

I was going to make another day-trip through Phoenix, check out Warehouse 3 because I haven't been there since they moved and then the inaugural race at SRS Onroad.

Should be good. Gas is cheap, the weather is nice, no reason not to.

Anybody from Tucson want to go for the ride?

Finally got some foam tires. Now I'm just curious what everyone will be running for touring eRevo class, 4s or 6s? Cant wait to hit the track!

I am excited for this track! i also cannot believe the complaint about the pillar being on the turn in the center.... don't hit the pillar... everyone is going to have to deal with it so it becomes fair.

Ya the vision is fine. You cant have everything handed to you. Drive properly and you wont hit anything.

Ok guys... people can voice opinions & of course nobody agrees.

I'll be out tomorrow to give it a run as well

Looks like I'll run up there tomorrow to run the Spec GT car as a test.

I'm thrilled there is another on-road track....my only issue is they plan to race Saturdays, which leaves me out, HT Gilbert will be switching to night racing in a couple months and they are few miles away so getting to the track on time (from work) is more likely.

Not sure why they are competing against HT Gilbert for road racers when they have already experienced direct competition for racers for their off-road races. The saying: 'if you build it they will come' is true....well, only if the scheduling works for the available racers.

I'm sure they will build a core group of hardcore racers, it's just going to take more time if schedules conflict with established tracks / race events.

Hopefully the scheduling will work itself out where the same racers can take advantage of both tracks on different days so more racers can attend both events.....and maybe the interest in on-road racing will continue to grow.

I'm hopeful.

The track surface was nice and sticky, ran really well for touring car but for some reason it just didn't want to grip foam tires very well. If we get some rubber run into it that will probably fix itself, if not we will have to find some tire compounds that will grip.
