Track forecast: Carpet will be grey with sections of higher grip yielding a darker appearance. Almost black! This is know as "the groove." Grip levels in the groove will be sufficient as to cause repeated encounters with the dreaded "roll of traction."

There were about 15 17.5 cars there last week. More are expected to show Saturday. It's going to be fun!

Chris Cooper Race For A Cure Carpet On-Road August 9Th. At Thunder RC. in Nashville. I would like to invite everyone out to help a fellow racer and friend that has been fighting cancer for a year. I spoke to him last night and with it being at Thunder rc and them having a/c, I'm hoping he'll be able to attend as well.

Chris has been racing RC for about 20 years Oval, Onroad and Dirt so at some point in the south east you've probably raced with him.

Doors open at 9:00 a.m. racing start at 12:00p.m..

Race Fee's 1st class $20, 2nd $10, 3rd Free
