At the last club meeting it was decided that Daniel Myers and Javier Caballero would redo the track since they have experience and the necessary equipment. I asked them if they wanted any help but they felt more people would just slow them down. They did the track rebuild in one day! Make sure to thank them when you see them.

Track work days will be posted on the website and on Facebook, but they will mainly be for chores other than track building (painting, mowing, wood work, trash pickup, etc.)

Default Novice Buggy

What would it take to get a novice buggy class. There are at least 3 of us I know, but I'm sure there would be several more.

I think 5 entries was the minimum for a class, but really it's at the race directors discretion. The problem you may run into is when there are 2 non-buggies in novice and 3 buggies, if you split up the class you end up with two very small classes. In that scenario, the race director would probably run them as a combo class and so it ends up being the same as if you never split them up n the first place.

The carpet track in Spring Hill has a separate novice buggy class, but the participation levels in regular novice and novice buggy are both quite high.

Best bet is to talk with the race director on race day during sign-ups to see if there are enough entries to split the class.

get024h, wondering if you would email me about a multi-track Summer series. I've got some ideas. My email is [email protected]. Thanks.

I'll forward your email to the current race director. If you haven't joined our Facebook group, you should check it out: https://www.facebook.com/groups/rc3racing/

So refresh me; what are the regular classes? Well let me ask this. Is 4wd Mod Buggy one?

Default classes

Classes: Novice, 17.5 short course ( truck or SCB) 2wd short course mod, 4wd short course mod, 2wd 1/10th buggy mod, stadium truck mod, 1/8th scale buggy and truggy. If you can get 4 or 5 4wd 1/10th buggys I am sure they will run them. No locals have them.
