Justin and Corey are wanting to come up for the first race so we will be heading that way as long as the weather is going to be good. It’s a 4 hour drive from Pensacola for us. The track looks great. Hope to see you all on the 7th. Will there be practice Saturday morning for those that can’t make it Friday? If so what’s the time window? Thanks, Mario.

There will be practice Sat. morning from 7:00a.m. till about 11:00a.m.
I know of a few guys that are coming down. The whole Nitro Fever crew will be there! already signed up!!!

When is the start time? Also what does the dirt there get like after some runs? Is it hard packed like blue groove? Or loose without much traction? I can't really tell by the pictures...

Practice from7:00a.m.-11:00a.m., signup by 11:00a.m., drivers meeting at 11:30a.m., racing by 12:00p.m.

The track is hard packed will blue groove. Had several guys out running this afternoon when I left, was already starting to groove...

Depending on how many people show up at a given time it could groove(blue), after just a couple days of about 10 people running on it it already has "lines" being formed and yeilds good traction even when dry.

We are gonna do our best to run it dry only watering the outside lines when needed. Watering takes a lot of time and you can't make the track the same for all unless you water before every single race.

At the same time with it being a new track we may have to put some water to it. If it goes that way we will water days leading up to the race, before practice on Friday and through out friday, saturday well before practice starts, and then lightly before the race.

That just helps it hold together with a new track.....

Practice will start 8am friday morning and.....let me verify this first. Since it's just going to be a club race..a very large one had intended not to use the lights on Friday. However with people driving in from several states and hundreds of miles we may need to look into that. Practice will also be from 7am saturday through 11am.



Track took all that rain and snow like a champ. Wed, I expect to have it looking like new money again. Be ready guys...the tracks gonna be @ 100%!!!
