hey do yall run 1/8 truggys am buggys at the parking lote races?

burn1out 07-02-2008 05:28 PM

No, I haven't seen an interest in that. If I knew for sure we could get a bunch of people at a dirt track locally, I'd buy a buggy or truggy. I had a hyper 7 and lost it out of the back of my truck... :(

Thanks for the turnout today. Unfortunately it rained. Hope to see everyone out on the 27th. Let's hope for some 80's and less rain that day, lol.

Dig out your Tamiya SPEC cars, Trans-am Class too!, Nitro 1/10's, touring 1/10's and your mini's, get down to HT USA for some free pizza from Pizza Hut (Only to people that Signup!!!). Got a class I didn't mention, then bring it just in case.

Signups begin at 12 noon, and END at 1:00pm. Racing to begin at 1:30pm

Everyone, please make sure batts are topped off and fail-safe's are installed especially in nitro cars.

Hope to see you all there on August 10

Thanks

Running a 1/8th scale gt class would be fun, especially out on that big oval. You can get rtrs for a little over $400, or rollers for under $200.

The oval is electric only. The quarter midget guys are not to keen on the nitros getting out there. Since the nitro cars do put down a little bit of oil. We tried last year to get them to approve it, but they wouldnt.

Hobbytown is on-road only. They do have some 1/8 scales out there running. Didnt run the last race, but I am sure if enough show up they would!!
