START YOUR CHARGERS!!!!!...time to get that last minute preparations together for one of the largest VTA(with TC/RCGT) races for the last 2 years..the 3rd Annual Music City Championsip - Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 (MCC#3)...

We are very hyped about this years race with a change in the race format and all the new local on-road racers coming to this event. I believe we have a chance at beating last year and year before entries by a good margin.

Here is the short of the event:

Race is next Sunday Sept 26th
Track and pits open at 8am
Registration between 9-10am
Paint contest at 10:30am
Drivers meeting at 10:45am
Race #1 at 11am

Best 5 out of 6 scoring

BBQ and drinks for all paid entries
Entry fee is still just $15....bring the Family and get lunch for $5 per person
Trophies 1st-10th in each class

Local and National sponsors are giving away prizes.

The BEST trophys anywhere.

Im looking forward to seeing alot of support from my local VTA and TC racers as well as some of the out of town guys Ive raced with over the last couple of years.

Also I would like to thank Tim Moore for putting this event together for the 3rd year as well as all the other things here does for our r/c family.

Iam from Portland, Oregon and I will be around the area for work from 10-22 to 10-26, I just wanted to know if theres anything going on like events or club race during the time of my stay, is there any spec tires for stock SC, any info will be helpfull to me so that I know what to bring. Thanks

sorry nothing going on this weekend. the website has the updated calendar. www.thunderrcraceway.com there is a dirt oval having a big race sunday just north of town at whitehouse on sunday if your looking for something to watch.

we could put you in the TA class and let you run. but it's weird that nashville has never seen any mini racing unlike ATL and Memphis or even Madison, AL when it was running. it just never had the pull or support in nashville. and I've been racing in Nashville for 20 years. Trans AM has been the closes we have had to a non serious race class like the minis. and even then there are some guys that take it way to serious. if enough show up I'll run them but I need 5 for a class.

cool I have a Datsun 510 body that would be like Trans am 2.5 class

payout based on entries and may be to 5th in A and and first in B and C
main spread based on half the field or 1/3 field if odd count +1 to the main.

12th scale $20 40% payback 1s lipo and open 17.5 speedo

Open TC $20 40% payback open, no really open any tire motor run sorex 24s run foams if you want open.
