Default P5i touring car on Thingiverse

Has anyone printed one of these or have any tips on building one? Saw it on thingiverse and was thinking of giving it a go. Was going to print it with my Ender 3 s1 pro using NylonX Carbon filament. Figured it might make a decent VTA car to bash around with at my local track.

I see he has breakage problems, I have recently read that PC filament is very good, and print arms at a 45 angle, 4 perimeters give them good strength, also not %100 infill to allow some flex.
You would be doing some R&D along the way Im sure, which I am doing with the M chassis by Tahustvedt ( same creator as the MK Ultra)

I think some of the problems he was having was from trying to print using regular pla. So hopefully some stronger filament will help with those problems. And thank you for the tip! Its for sure going to be some trial and error and lots of testing, but hopefully can get it to be a somewhat competitive car

Its just weird that did all that work to design it, then gave up. If you are interested in a proven design, the club hero 1/12 is doing very well. Id build one but there is no class for them here.

Another tc is this one, its based off the Mk ultra buggy, for which there is a lot of people running it. Big thread on rcgroups and discord has a bunch of info. A proven design.
i printed the mk ultra but have not built it yet.

I am very interested in this vehicle and 3D printed RC cars.
We plan to complete this vehicle within a few months and test it on a circuit.
