First, our history...
R/C Tech (www.rctech.net) was born on August 19th, 2001 on a somewhat
spur-of-the-moment decision by Shane (futureal), our webmaster and
founder. After a few credit card transactions, some quick web layout
and an ICQ to Troy (TSR6), the word began to spread and much to our
absolute amazement, we had nearly 250 members in less than 5 days.
Although our "bread and butter" is undoubtedly our bustling message
forum, the real goal from the beginning has been to lay the groundwork
for the best R/C Vehicles website on the internet. That means combining
unbiased articles, reviews and forums with easy navigation, simple but
effective page designs and additional features such as live chats and
interactive members' areas.
Though R/C Tech remains in its infancy, with your help and support we can
build something truly excellent here, a true online R/C community. If
you have any suggestions, comments or criticisms, by all means contact us.
