Painting Contest Deadline Extended!

The body painting contest has been extended to June 30th since I lagged so much in getting the announcement out. So, there's still time to paint up a body and participate! For more information and a look at current entries, check out this thread in our message forum.

Body Painting Contest

R/C Tech is proud to host an R/C Lexan Body Painting Contest, sponsored by two of our forum members, CFX (charlie_b) and KT Hobbies (Kraig). The rules are rather straightforward:
  • There will be only 10 cars in the final voting, and only ONE overall winner.
  • Only ONE entry allowed per person (to give everybody a fair chance).
  • Interiors and little extras help, BUT the painting itself will be focus of judging.
  • The contest will last until June 18th, at which point the finalists will be determined by voting.
  • Bodies MUST be painted by the contestant... NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Professional painters are not eligible. Amateurs only.
  • All entries must be submitted to KT Hobbies before June 18th at 11:59 PST.
  • No late entries will be accepted!
The prizes will be:
  • A lexan R/C body, courtesy of KT Hobbies
  • A paint mask courtesy of CFX
  • An 8"x11" paint mask with ANY custom graphic, courtest of CFX
