Off-road Racing @ Windy City RC & Raceway
Windy City RC & Hobbies is pleased to announce that we will be starting a weekly, weekday racing program. We will now be racing every Tuesday evening, starting February 21st. Don't worry Wednesday night family racers, your nights will not change.
We will have open practice for racers only, from 5pm until 7:15pm, and racing will start PROMPTLY at 7:30pm. To start, these are the following classes we will offer:
Novice
17.5 Blinky 2wd Buggy
17.5 Blinky 2wd Short Course
17.5 Blinky 2wd Stadium Truck
13.5 Blinky 4wd Buggy
We will run a pretty basic set of rules; 8.40v, esc's in Blinky mode (no timing or boost), and weight check will also be randomly checked. We highly recommend using carpet/astro tires, but you are more than welcome to use whatever you'd like (no dirt on tires, must be clean).
Racing fees will be $15 for the first class, and $10 for any additional classes you may want to enter. For now, Tuesday evening will be the normal race nights, but we are in talks of Friday or Saturday evening races as well.
We ask that you come on in and check out our newly rehabbed off road track. We've assembled all new jumps, and the layout is more racer friendly. Hope to see everyone soon!

I'm really looking forward to this!
Racing on the turf with the new jumps was so much more fun than I had expected.
If you haven't stopped by to check it out.......put it on your to do list.

Let's not forget Tuesday is off road racing on the TURF. Let's get a good showing for next week. Layout is awesome so let's go. As said above Wednesday is still off road family racing for all the new kids and parents to the hobby so come then and have a blast as well!!!!

Last Wednesday was an awesome turn out let's get even more tomorrow. SC, 17.5 buggy and stadium trucks 4x4 buggy bring them all.. See everyone tomorrow night.

Its Wednesday turf time let's get a good turnout on the new layout. Its fun for sure so come check it out and bring your off road cars.
