I'd like to thank all that came to race today. I, nor do I think anyone else would have expected such a great turn out on only 6 days notice! I also want to thank all the employees that helped run the conssesions, store and race direct. It couldn't have been done as well as it was without you. Looking forward to the next big event. Time to start planning something......

Just want to say thanks to the guys at RCP for a great day of racing yesterday. It was our first time there and definently going back soon. The facility and track are absolutely awsome. The track was super high bite and consistent all day long gotta love wheelies. The layout on the track now is the best i've seen on a track that size. thanks Karl Schmeling.

Awesome Job on the New Years Day Race
Race directing was well done and program ran smooth.

I especially liked the way you gave two qualifiers with more room on the track and then made one qualifier with the larger groups which were same size as mains. This was a GREAT way to run things to give guys some shot at open track racing for TQ and Main sorting and then give everyone a chance to run in traffic PRIOR to the mains. This was a much better format than just throwing the mains out on the track without giving people a chance to run with more traffic. I think it made for cleaner Mains.
I would like toi see this format for any large races in the future.

The re-sort is a common thing in bigger races, except that the final qualifyier is there to make you faster since you shouldn't be fighting with lap traffic. Drivers should be pushing each other to go faster, not slowing each other down. It is there to pair abilities.
