Default 2016 HobbyTown St Charles Racing Series...!!

Just around the corner is the start of our 2016 Race Series, are your cars ready? Questions, I try and get in here at least once a day and a lot of the veterans of this series are even more helpful

They also have a "Juniors" Class for rookie or beginning racers.

Should we run 2WD SCT mod this year? I'm kinda in favor of it.

Yes, there is. I think John R. will be setting up the rules. I think the rules may include the following: Stock motor with stock pinion, with the ability to put in a smaller pinion, but not a larger one, stock spur, stock servo, stock esc, stock shocks and springs, 2 cell 5000 lipo limit, and Arrma short course tires. You can change shock oil and ride height. You would be allowed to replace the front chassis plate with the Arrma metal one.

John R. may have other ideas.

I think a different body is ok, At Hadley the Fury was our club truck this year. Two kids changed their bodies. All had different large numbers. Some kids added some brightly colored tape, lights etc.

If anybody wants to race 1/16th Rally, I've got the one I built and upgraded for racing last year up for sale. Never raced it and decided not to race it this year.
