So labor day is done. Leaves are falling off the tree's and Jamie got a new TRACTOR! That can only mean 1 thing! SPEKTRUM TIME! This will be the 5th running of the Spektrum Off Road Championships at Trackside. We have watched this race grow each and every year and we are expecting the same huge turnout and fantastic racing we see each year.
Downtown Sonny Brown from Spektrum each year brings a Satchel of goodies to give away and we get to witness some of the best racers from around the country throwing down at Trackside.
I am as always thrilled to be part of this event and looking forward to announcing and race directing another great Spektrum. This year though I am going to try and race and see how well this old guy can do.
Jamie is trying to plan things out as far in advance as possible so if you are going to join in the event, please go to rcsignup.com and enter the event. You can pay at the same time as you enter so it is very easy. Don't wait to sign up. Trust me, each year we get calls from guys saying, oh please can you squeeze me in, I forgot to sign up. But when we are full, we are full. Trackside can only hold so many racers so don't wait and be that guy calling us in October say. Come on guys. cant you fit me into the race.
Also all entries need to be pre paid. This is to ensure that everyone gets into the race that wants to race. Last year we had so many guys signup and then did not show up. This prevented others who were on the waiting list from joining in the fun.
The Spektrum race is very special as it gives everyone a chance to hangout with some of the best drivers in the industry and share in the fun of the hobby we all love.
We hope to see everyone in November at Trackside for the annual tradition that is the Spektrum Off Road Championships.
