Are there special rates at the Gurnee Grand?
Can't wait to get the cars out of mothballs again!

Any one have a car for GT1 that I can borrow for the event? Ideally a 415 of greater.

Jason's Evo 5 MS is still setup and TCS legal. You would be welcome to use it since he is not eligible to race the series anymore.

I also have a complete spare roller and every spare part imaginable. You would just need to come up with your own body as Jason will not allow me to lone out any of his bodies with his paint theme on them.

I can bring it to MARCCA this Sunday if you want to give it a shake down.

Keith.

Does every TCS round host every class?

F-1 Foam
GT-1
GT-2
GT-3
1/12 GT
Spec Novice
FWD
Mini
Mini PRO

Those are what's listed on the TCS Registration page.

That little car looks fun. Would be a great class to race and cheap. I'd buy the car if it was raced more on a regular basis.

Thanks for posting this, I've seen the dates on Tamiya's web page and its nice to see confirmation. I'm thinking a couple of us are gonna bring down our F104 Pro's from the fox valley area to run F1 Rubber. We have foams as well in case not enough rubber tire F1's show. Might be one or two more coming down from our area for Mini as well. Sounds like a great weekend and I'm stoked to see the Track, having never been there, it sounds like a great place to race. Also never been to a TCS race so pardon me for being the newby

There will be no rubber F1 class. Foam only for carpet venues.

Thanks Rob, I posted that before I had completed the online registration. We'll be bringing our foam tires! But, here's a newby question - can I present my F1 car for concourse competition on rubber tires? Or must it be in complete race trim. Having read the rules the car must be competing, have all electronics etc. Not that its a big deal to swap 4 tires out quick.

Is there no rally class at this race? I bought a DF03RA a while back hoping to have some fun with the rally car at a local off road track that ran it for a few races but it isn't real popular here I guess.
I know it's not a points or award class but it looked fun.

I wouldn't think it's a problem for concours
