Default Chicago/Major Races - Using a Shared Google Calander

Link Me to Google R/C Racing calendar

I have to give Beemerfan(Pete) credit for starting. Many thanks for starting a calendar in 2011 for us. This is a good samaritan effort and if you want to help add events... Please give me your gmail address and I will be more then happy to give you access... (I tried to leave it Wide Ass Open, but have not figure out how....)

All types of racing are welcome (on-road / off-road), just need to post the following information:
Date: (Start / End) or (Every other Saturday starting March x to Oct x)
Racing Type: Nitro Off-Road, Elec Off-Road, Nitro On-Road, Elec On-Road, etc...
Place: (Name of the place)
Address: (People need to know how to get to the location... Yes most know, but not everyone....)
Phone: (what is the number of host, if someone has questions, or get lost, etc...)
Web Site: (if you have one) (Your time to Promote your place, make it simple for people to find out about your place....)
If you have ideas, please share them, if you like something state it.... Look this is for us, all of us...

Google has the ability to give you map if you provide an address. It will sync to your phone, tablet, computer... Updates when you when the event is updated...

Why not just put all in one, in the title state what it is... Look at the Snow Birds... onroad on the rug... I put in the winternats @ the fort.... this is nitro... (remember I'm into onroad... but off-road can be added also)....

Here is my problem... I have not figured out how to change the colors... I know how to do this for my events on my calendar but not on a shared calendar... I'm open to learn...

Could you create two different calendars; say an on-road that is coded one color and off-road that is coded another color and simply merge them?

Ok I see what the issue is. Edit the event, and change the calendar to RC Event, not your calendar.... When you create/edit an event, you can select a calendar.... The default is your calendar...
