The Track @ Harbor Hobbies Presents: 2012 U.S. VTA Scale Nationals!!
#182
Thanks Eric and the crew for a great day of racing. Love the vta racing format this year, made for a very clean racing on the quals.
Hope to see some F1's next year. It's scale nationals for crying out loud!!
PS I'm taking that belt next year from you Natt!!! You just got lucky this year because Howard was blocking me all day

Battery giant packs
Fantastic Scale Nats first of all.
Secondly, thanks to Harbor Hobby for making it all possible and thanks to all those drivers running our packs.
The Battery Giant group did pretty well.
Four (probably five) of the A-main in VTA, including 1st, 3rd, 5th and 9th place.
Great show including one rent a ride -- and Battery Giant pack.
Two in the A-main in USGT. We will keep working on that class!
Congrats to Natt and Josh on stellar performances in those long mains.
Next year we will have 1st in all three classes.
On to the asphalt! Time to step it up again!
Thx,
Darrald

That would be cool!
Have the computer scoring up for 15 min. Not sure on open practice or in a race format. You have drivers basically circulating/practicing. All you need to do is run a few laps, and if they are fast pull your car off. After the first 15 min sort the lap times. Those with the fastest times stay in and move to round two. Those with the slower time are knocked out. Repeat for rounds two and three, and maybe decrease the time window. Just like real F-1. Sounds very cool!
Snowy.

Maybe a dumb question but have to ask. Eric, do you carry battery giant packs? How much are they for vta legal?
