Smile Indoor Dirt Racing @ RC Performance in Madison

Hey all you dirt off road fans, just wondering how many people would be willing to come out to RCP and race dirt off road, they broke ground over a month ago and are estimating to be up and running in march or april. They have rc scoring pro for race software. Sounds like they only want the best for their equipment.

An air exchage unit is being put in so we can run nitro. It may only be 1/10 scale though. We'll have to see if it's going to be big enough for 1/8th scale and consider the danger factor.

FYI, Hobbytown of Oshkosh is hosting a New Years Eve on the Dirt race (indoor, dirt, electric only) for those who want a little warm up.

Smaller than some, larger than you think. The Oshkosh Track will have sprinters and modifieds running on an Oval, while the off road trucks (and stampedes) will be running a tight off road layout.

Registration closes at 6:30, runs start at 7. Trophies specific to this race for the top three finishers in class's run. See www.hobbytownoshkosh.com for details

I don't think there will be an engine rule. We haven't discused rules too much yet. But if we put on a large race I'm sure ROAR rules will be in effect.

I want to try it. I'm working on a Rustler to run. Have the Stampede but do'nt know if I'll try that one. Would like to see the 1/18 scale also. Have an RS18t waiting for a track.

We will have to play the 1/8 scale buggies running by ear. You have to figure in liability, noise, track maintenance... etc. Our plan is to have it done in march/april.

Some engineering issues have slowed the construction a little. But we will all be ready for opening day in Spring. Cool store they have there (clean too).

We Will have to play it by ear but we will have a seperate night for gas racing. That and we will have a schedule that won't conflict with trackside. But we will decide that when we get the building up.

The track is making really good progress, the outside is all done, insulation is put in, garage doors are installed, now the bathrooms and electrical are being put in. Its still too early to tell when we will have our first race. But continue to check back for updates, we also have pics on our website www.rcperformance.com
