Last year this was a fun race with 2 tracks. This year a new challenge with it at the same track but 2 layouts in the same weekend. Looking forward to it.
I appreciate the clarification on the equipment! Thank you.

BTW... is there a tech inspection for compliance?

Just a general question... why the spec tires (Dbl Dee and/or Gridiron)? Those are the only 2 tires you can run... correct?

In the spec slash class is limited to the kit tires that come with the truck. Mod and stock sc is open to any short course tire. No 1/8th scale tires that's all.

Default Depends on the track conditions...

If the track has not grooved up yet and started to take rubber, I would start with a double dee, holeshot or even a AKA city block. If the temp is under 85 go with soft, if it is above 85 go with medium.

If the track has grooved up and taking rubber (Most likely with the amount of cars running this race) You will want AKA Impacts. They are the go to tire onces the track comes in. Same rules to heat as above.

Hope this helps.

Jason was hoping it is more of an electric 1/8th scale race.

Hey Jim! What are you planning on running? I plan on running e buggy, Mod sc, and SC 4x4 if I can find one. If there was 2wd buggy, I'd run that to, lol. Amtrak only allows me two carry ons, hopefully UPS will come through for me! lol
