Chicago Mini R/C Race - May 15th - We provide the cars (Berkeley, IL)
You read the title correct. Our Club provides the Mini-z vehicles!
No need to prep your vehicles and bring all your equipment. We have a fleet of Mini-z vehicles that are part of the membership dues. The membership dues for this event are $10. This Saturday we are racing the "How Fast Are You" layout for the month.
We Provide
* Xmods and Kyosho Mini-Z vehicles
* All batteries charged and ready to go
* Dedicated RCP Tracks specifically designed for R/C car racing
* Computer controlled timing equipment
* Venue with publicly accessible washrooms
* Handicap accessible
* Had a breakdown? hand in your car for another one!

I've had some people ask. You can bring your own car if you want. I'll try to accommodate where I can in terms of mounting the transponder. MR-02 and MR-03 chassis are a little easier to wire in. Still looking for a quick and easy way to wire in the mr-015 chassis.
Initially I'm trying to discourage outside cars that are significantly modded so the rest of the field doesn't feel blown away.
For the HFAY race your car will need to be to spec or just use one of the club cars for that race.

In short, a stock motor and no foam tires. Most hopups and alloy parts are allowed.
