Were you guys going to throw a few jumps down for the SCT's on Weds night or is it strictly flat track.

I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had time to come up. I need to get my onroad cars tuned up.

Default Wausau Indoor Carpet Racing...

I am planning on being at the track on Monday's for Oval racing with Sportman Pan and Mod Truck and Wednesday's for road course racing with the VTA and Touring Cars.

Not sure what the plans are in terms of jumps for trucks. It is a lot of work (time) to put the jumps on and take them off three times a night. I am sure that if there is enough interest in the jumps, it can be done though.

A lot of folks are itching for out door dirt racing and I agree, dirt is a lot of fun, can't wait! I was at the track on a nice day a few weeks ago and the big garage doors were opened up, effectively opening up the entire side of the building. It was awesome, natural lighting with protection from direct sunlight, fresh air without gusty winds and it made the building appear twice as big. It was like having the best of both worlds!

...So don't put the Pan Cars, VTA cars and the Touring Cars on the shelf for summer, the summer racing season is just beginning!

Default 1:12 scale racing

How many folks out there have 1:12 scale cars? I have visited a few tracks that race them and they look like oodles of fun!

Any interest in a 1:12 scale class

Default Smoking Joe

Smoking Joe Krzykowski Mustang is up to be the next hand painted VTA car out of Rapids. Just got some pictures from Joe and Linda, only one color butten. It is the most hardest one I ever did so far. Three hand painted flags with a number in the middle. Maybe done for Wednesday night??? Green, red, orange, and yellow stripping around the car. Joe wants to see and auto the car when it is done. The car will not be raced untill Joe has seen it. Robert wants to have another body done. Ho was the dirtest driver in the 70's? Neil Calahand? Or ??

Default Smoking Joe Car is done.

The car is done. Robert and I will be up Wednesday night. I need to use a power source for my charger, my 2 month old 110 power converter took a dump. I sent it a week and a half ago and its not back yet. So can I use a power source of some ones? Thanks!!!

Default On the farm

Greg and I came up with a new class for oval. Old buggies with older bomber car bodies. 1990 and older car bodies, no widge nose bodies. The kind like Trickle, Reffner, and Detjens ran. What does everyone think? Greg has a falcon buggie with a camaro body, pretty cool. Great night of racing! Robert has the Detjen's Challenger flying. The Joe Kryzkowski mustang looks pretty cool. GILL GREAT NEW TRACK!!!!

Sounds like a class we tried quite a few years back at an old off road track here. We ran any 2wd buggy Trinity 4 cell spec batteries and the trinity spec motors. It started as a fun class but soon disappeared.

Greg ordered bodies from Mcallister for a group of of us racers. So I hope the class will take off. Greg ordered a mid 70's to 81 camaro body for me, for a Tom Reffner blue knight car, with a gold pan rc10 chassie.
