Glad you guys found a spot to race When you say SCT do you mean a stock class and a mod class and what about the slash4x4 class

As of now stock SCT for sure, rules are not set, but most likely 6-7 cell unmatch nimh or 2s lipo. Stock tires, stock RTR motor from which ever brand of truck it is and posibly a brushless option (17.5). I don't know that a Mod SCT class is a real good idea on a track that size, you know what it's like Blaine. I also can't guarentee that it will be a Slash only class as there will soon be 5 companies making SC trucks (Traxxas, AE, Losi, Hpi, Kyosho).

Nothing is set in stone but it's looking like $10 for the first class and $5 for a second class, anything over 2 would be free.

looks like a great place. Enough room for a road course and a nice second level for pits. Talked to Greg and it's in a very nice location especially for any plover guys that would like to run 10th scale indoor they don't have to drive to the north side of wausau much shorter drive.

I agree with most of the ideas you made.

As for SCT class I'm pretty sure it will be a slash class. You could allow other sct trucks in the slash class but as everyone knows the stock slash is no comparrison to the stock sc10. If you guys allow other trucks they should have to have the titan 12t motor. As for batterys I would say 6 or 7 cell nimh or 2s lipo. Traxxas had this at the torc races so it should be farely close when you consider weight.

10th scale sliders I would go with stock motor and 3600 stick pack. Green Bay has great racing with those rules.

"Establish season points series for popular classes" We tried this last year and found it to be to competitive and to much complaning but it might be better this year.

I deffinitly would say that you guys and everyone else should spread the word about the racing with flyers and internet.

As of conflicts with racing Dorchester on wednesday and as of know I think plover will only be racing 18th scale at there place.

Just my opinion's
Blaine

Once you guys get up and running, could there be a weekend of MARCCA guys coming up and running? You guys paid us a visit last year, I bet we could return the favor......

I'm hoping this thread will start to blossom tonight being the weekend is here.
Need some more input on what the biggest draws are going to be (other than SCT) we know that's huge.
We can get in the building late next week (I think) and we should be up and running for practice by the begining of November and most likely start racing in the second week of Nov.

For on road, you might want to consider 17.5 sedan. It the biggest class at Trackside and is being run at RCP this year also. Its a good stepping stone and at your size might be more appropriate for the speeds.

Default Wausau indoor track

What about old rc10 vintage oval, 1/10 pan class, and open stadium truck oval? I would hopefully make a lot of the races, maybe all? I would like to run a old Trickle looking car or better yet Tom Reffner's last blue knight looking body, I have the real car he raced at home. Vintage rc10 pictures on dirtoval.com

Vintage '10 class, not real likely at this point. Mod Oval ST is possible, would be a foam tire class with no motor limit, would have to be a truck w/truck foams, oval conversions o.k. not making any promises at this point though.
