Default 12th Scale racing in NE IL / SE WI

Hey everybody,

Any 12th scalers out there looking for a race? I'm trying to get a 12th scale program going as part of our regular Sat evening racing this winter at The Track in Winthrop Harbor, IL (Where IL, WI, & Lake Michigan meet).

We'll be starting on Oct 10th somewhere around 4:00 in the PM. Right now I'm thinking 13.5 w/ 1s lipo but am very open to 17.5 1s or even both depending on the interest level.

Let me know if there's any interest out there here or by PM.

thanks

michael larson.

Durnit! I can't even get the truck ready to get back on the track, much less get the VTA running. Now you want to run these.

I have been looking at these and thinking...

FYI, many of the Underground RC Racetrack (Chicago) regular racers who run 1/12th scale are currently discussing powerplant options for this Fall and Winter. It looks like they'll be running 1 cell Lipo with 13.5 brushless motors.

I mention it because I think it will be a popular class, and if you guys up North are willing I'd bet you could pull together some "special 1/12th scale" kind of races between the two groups of racers throughout the Winter. It would also be good because it looks like you are racing on Saturdays and UG will be racing on Sundays.

13.5 1s is fine with me. That might get some of out more experienced 12th scalers out on the track as well.
