We will be starting our carpet season on the 19th of this month. Racing starts at 6pm Mondays. Carpet from CRC, so it is pretty nice. Track is located in the Center Point mall downtown. If you have any questions PM me. Thanks.

hey chad, how much room is there in the back part for pits? Does the longer track go into that area that we used last time, like where andy pitted. That, and what is the layout, lol, just trying to get a hint for tomorrow. Just describe it a bit

There is no wasted space like before there is a long straight on the back wall.

The carpet is aroung 90 feet long I think. Some of it is rolled up. I say the straight would be as long as RR, but the track isn't as big.

Pit space is limited. I'd bring bring a table to use.

The only thing that needs work are the corners. I need some ideas on what to use. Plow discs, or some kind of connectors. I need to look around.

oh, i'd say trackside size, actually maybe a couple feet shorter, haven't been to trackside in a while, but it's within a couple feet.

i have some little orange cone things, that rise about 4-5 inches up, should i bring those? Are you bringing a table, i don't have one i could bring.

so does the track get picked upafter r acing?

nope, but we are changing the layout every week. Oh great, so maybe only an hour of practice for me, spend a 1/2 hour doing the corners. Okay, i'll bring them.

i just went to my garage and got them, there kind of high, still 4 inches, but stubbier. Cars might flip on them, but if they warm up, when there taped down, we might be able to flatten them out, it's better than hitting pvc though, and there bright orange, so you can see them.

We had a really good turnout for the first race. 2 Heats of everything. Hopefully we can get the racing running more smoothly and get done a little sooner. But over all it was great first night.

yes, very much sooner, my dad wasn't very happy he had to wait there 30 minutes. I found out my motor is still good, just a hung brush, and somehow a not charged battery. I might be racing next week, pending on money, don't know if i'll go mod or stock though, now that my motor is fine, i think i'll go mod again, i was fast, my car just needs to stay together(not my fault, just the car is old, plastic is geting weaker). Could sneak an extra table in there for me, i don't have one, and i really don't like being on the floor!

I don't have any extra tables. I brought my own, so you would have to bring one for yourself.

okay, i'll see if i could get one. Since we are using the stupid start method this week, are you going to make the long straight, just because i i want to gear beofre i get to the track, i might not have too much time to setup and gear. How's your setup? My rear is actually planting alittle too much, specially entering, i guessed pretty good. The track has alot of grip(surprised), i have a track idea, if your working at galaxy friday, i'll bring a drawing, if you haven't built the new track yet(maybe the next week then).

My car is very close, but it still could be better. I can't lay all the power down like I want too. I think we may still do the IFMAR start. We'll take a vote. If you have a track idea let me know. I'll be out of ideas soon.
