Default SIDEWAYS SATURDAY AT TRACKSIDE

Hi guys,

Just wanted to give everyone the info for Sideways Saturday July 11th.

It will be a fun filled day of Dirt Oval racing. We will open at 9am and racing will start at 1pm.

We will have all our normal classes as we race weekly.

1/18th
Short Course
Stock Truck
Outlaw Truck
Stock Sprint
Outlaw Sprint

We will have very nice plaques that will go to the top 3 finishers of all classes. Something New I found that I think you will all like.

So lets get ready to get Sideways and have some great fun.

See you Saturday,
Scotty

I have a couple questions about sat.? I have a cw outlaw with the stock tires that came with the kit, what class would that run in with brushless set-up? I have many motors to slow down or speed up car to race stock slider(I'm inexperienced driver on dirt, would be my first race.) My second question is about the slash class, I bought one with out electronics, would I be able to install a BL system with maybe a 21.5ss and 2slipo and compete? Thanks to whom ever replys. Jason,
I do know that with Outlaw Sprint you can run a 10.5 with the stock kit tires. Stock Sprint we are running 17.5 with the Losi Slider Tires. All classes are Lipo 2cell. I think the Slashes are running a 10.5 motor.

you are correct dave, slash class is a 10.5 brushless motor limit and for your sprint car well, you can run outlaw sprint with a 10.5 with your kit tires or If you are inexperienced like posted you can run the stock sprint class with the losi kit tires and a 17.5, which ever way you go I hope you have fun this weekend.

I meant that i was new to dirt oval racing, I have been running pan-car oval for the past 2 yrs, just not very good with the set-up. What advantage does the kit tires have over the losi tires other than the grooves? Jason

hi Jason,

the guys are right on with their answers. Slash is up to a 10.5 motor.

Stock Sprint is 17.5 with Losi Slider tires. This makes the class so equal and close it is amazing!

Outlaw Sprint is open motor but most use a 10.5 and rubber tires.

I hope you can join us, it is going to be great.

Great you are going to make it Dave, Stock Sprint is going to be so good.

see you then.

Great Idea Mikey,

We can do that. both quals and finals we will do as laps.

I am looking forward to see everyone this weekend. If you race both Friday night and Sideways Saturday, there will be a special deal set up.

See you soon
