New Track open for buisness in Rubicon/Hartford WI
this is short notice but we are opening up a track here in rubicon tomorrow. we will be a club run track with oval and offroad racing. we offer alot more then just the racing part though considering we have a air field and obsticle/crawler course. if your interested in the racing club or just wanna swing by please give me a call or ill post the address so bring your truck or whatever you have and lets enjoy the hobby together.
Please post pics, classes, times, day of race, power requirements (ie. electricty provided or now) property rules and anything else you want racers to know about it before arriving.
well guys it was perfect out yesterday for r/c fun! we had about 10 plane guys and a few for the offroad. the oval track is done. however id like to get some more ideas on what the racers want for the track. i was looking at doing the same layout as crandon's pro corr offroad track. but thats just a idea for now.
to answer more questions..we had the address up for the ones who asked and it was a all day event. kind of just a fun fest. we will however have a amb lap counting system for both tracks. i hope this answers all questions you might have.
just to give you a idea of the oval size its roughly a 340ft drive line.
this area is hurting for a good off road track,so this is good news,i would give scotty a call at trackside hobbies(262-783-4699)he would have some great tips for you on what the offroad guy's & girl's in this area have been waiting for,i live in west bend so for me to get to a offroad track it is a 2 hr drive at least so this is a good thing.

yes it is. next saturday the 11th would be a good day for the workbee on the offroad track. starting around 1pm. if anyone is for sure interested please let me know since we will try and have soda out there for everyone. the 1st offroad race and oval race will be the 18th @ 12. at that time we will try and form the club for this year. membership is free for this year so come on down and lets have some fun. once again anyone with questions give me a call. 2624846039. thanks alot!

Cool, that's what I figured, I know the whole hoeppner family. Glad to see they are gonna be using it again. Dave the 11th is this saturday. If I wasn't busy this saturday or next I would lend a hand.

aaron whats your last name? mike was curious.. ok guys heres the thing if your coming out today bring your oval cars because the track is a diamond right now. im going out to sweep it off but under the dust oh man babys butt smooth. so today starting at 4pm bring em out and lets have fun guys. no charge just wanna have a fun day!
