Here is how the tires break down
Pro Compound....Soft compound
D compound.......Harder compound
The D compound only comes 1 way and this is what we should use for the majority of summer time parking lot racing as they should hold up the best.
Pro's come in belted and non belted.....I ran the belted ones on carpet and I think this is where they will work best. If you race the Pro compounds outside and the track temp is high then you run the risk of really wearing them out fast because they are softer.
Also the D compound tires are the cheapest of the 3 types.....Only stock inserts should be used with all 3 compounds.

I know this class will be big because the team from Al's Hobby Shop were already started their "Project", somehow that involved I-pod/I-phone, MP3, Tamiya Engine sounds, lights and vibration unit.......$$$$$$
