At the very least, you should contact Sonny Brown regarding your track build/design. He has a lot of dirt oval experience and would be willing to share his experience. I don't know if he is on RC Tech, but you can find him on HobbyTalk.

I am just wondering about how big the track will be and if anyone will be running 1/10 nitro on it.Some of us were thinking about coming up to runfrom Dub.
We have nitro revo,s and e-revo,s
Also I see traxxas is coming out with 1/18 revo,s and slash too.As far as I can tell the1/18,s will all be elect.

I've always been a sucker for counterclockwise racing so we'll see what classes come up.

I don't really think that 2200 is the best idea for that. I was planning on running a Novak HV 6.5 which is a 3400 kv motor that I already have and a 3S Lipo that I already have. Using stuff I already have is half the reason I am planning on building one. I think maybe place a limit on max RPMs based off of battery choice and motor kv instead of a limit on the motor itself. Brushless 1/8th scales are not like 1/10th scales everyone uses different cell counts on batteries, meaning anywhere from a 3S to a 6S Lipo.

i was thinking of keeping it about the same. i run a 2000kv motor with the nitros and can easilly keep up and be competitive.

i have run dirt oval with an e-8th scale before and i burned up the 3200kv motor that was in there. there goes $250 down the drain.

I would be on a limited basis as I'm trying to race a full-size car this summer. I think I have most stuff 13.5/2S 3200 lipo, just need the tires. Was wondering if the tires that came with my kit would work? I have not done them(put together)yet. I'm not very familiar with putting those kind of tires together, my pan car tires are already done.

You'll probably get a couple from Dubuque. With the affordability of the CW Outlaw at around $325 complete including tires and body, there will have to be more. As of today, in stock at Lefthander dot you know what.

Thanks for the info cory, I will have to mount them then, just curious is there a tire that could be used that mounts like a pan-car rear tire? Doesn't matter just curious. I hope to make it up there sometime, if it ever quits raining otherwise the track will never get built.
