Brian, I would also be interested in racing next sat. Is Slash class stock or mod. and if stock what is legal? If you are racing tonight in Oshkosh I will talk to you there. Thanks

Tha Slash class has been stock... stock slash motor and a 3600 stick pack battery. We have been getting quite a few kids so we want to keep the racing somewhat sane!

Hope to see you there! Brian

Do you allow any stock motor or does it need to be the original motor that comes with the Slash? My sons motor burned up last week and all I have at the moment is a couple old 27t motors. If they are not allowed will you have them available at your shop because they are back ordered at HTO for the next two weeks?

Default 1/10 Late Model

Hi Brian,
I have never raced at Victory before. Can you tell me what the rules are for the 1/10 Late Model Dirt Class? Are these buggy conversions? Are lipos allowed? Brushless? How about tires? Thanks much. Jeff

Hey Jeff,

The 10th latemodels are touring chassis with stock or 17.5 brushless. 7.4 Lipo is allowed also... the same motor/battery rules we use for the trucks. Most the guys use regular touring tires.

Hope this helps! Brian

Brian, sorry to bother you again, I know you said that the stock slash motor is what you run in stock class. But I only have one stock slash motor left for both my son and my car, at HTO they allow any stock motor, the slash stock motor and 17.5 brushless in stock class and the stock motor that comes with the slash is just as fast as any of the three mentioned. Just wondering if my 27t motors would be ok or if not I might have to pass on this weekend. I would really like to race this weekend but I know rules are rules. Thanks

Jim,
They sell 12T Titans on Ebay everyday for about $15. I also have like three fast ones available for sale. One of my buddies just ordered some the other day. If you keep them clean and lube the bushing they will last a long long time.
I have yet to see one ever burn out, when properly taken care of. Rules are rules.

Storm 800,

All the guys here at Trackside are running brushless in their slashes so they have the stock motors laying around. I will grab one from them that you can use it for the day, To find me I will be the guy with an all white wing with no stickers on a sprint car and my dad will have a white and green #5, stop on over and we'll hook you up!
