Default EXTREME R/C..........WATERLOO,IA

I know that this is not in IL or WI but thought that I would post this in here as this is where the majority of people that I know look at. They have a points series race on Saturday March 14th. There is talk of running a slash class along with buggy and truggy. Hope that a few of the people that come on here might be able to make it out to this race as I saw quite a few of the LH crew @ Newberry's this last weekend.

Here is a link to their homepage: http://www.extremerconline.com/
Check out their message board for more details.

I practiced at that track when I was stuck working at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids. It is similar to Leisure Hours dirt, at least in 2007-2008, a bit smaller -- enough room for 4 lanes of track over a good maybe 100 foot width.

Most people run switches in clay or the pink taper pins by losi.

You always work, but I guess that is the reason I can't make it to your area.
This will be a great event for sure.

Once again it was a great time at this track. Had over 100 entries, which is a record for their indoor track. Track had tons of traction and the layout a was awesome. People were running sub 18 second laps. Hope that the ones that were there had as good of time as I did. Not if I could just get rid of this hangover.

Thanks for the positive replies guys

My name is jason and it take care of the race program at ERC
I started in june of 2008 with our indoor dirt oval. We are just about done
with indoor and looking forward to getting back out side.

The next race indoors at ERC is MARCH 28th
Expecting 60-80 entries
practice is open friday for anyone that wants to make the trip over to
get in some track time.
Racing starts at noon and is done right around 8 with 80 entries
We have a 50/50 raffle ----at our last race the winner toke home 180 bucks

The last 4 rounds of the WINTER SERIES races draw average of 80 entries
Round 4 there was 101 total entries

The Final round is APRIL 11TH
We run three rounds of 5 min quals
taking best 2 out of 3 based on QUAL points
We use amb and rc scoring pro

Track size is 140 feet long and 45 feet wide
There is a PA system for the drivers stand
The build stays pretty clear of smoke and is well lighted
We use a FM broadcast system if you want to use head phones

We run a pro and int. class for both BUGGY and TRUGGY

There is a on site hobby store

Tire of choose is
PANTHER SWITCHES
mounted with aka foams
I have been running the same set of tires since NOVEMBER

The surface is high traction and gets a pretty good rubber groove on it
Track is fast and has a good flow to that makes for good racing.

Thanks and hope to meet some of ya
JASON
