2009 Hobbytown USA St. Charles Racing

Last year HT ran 13.5 with stock, i dont think anyone had any problems with it. I think they'll continue running that way.
Not really sure where WGT would fit in. I'm starting to feel like theres too many classes, too little time.

Some guys show up for one or two races then disappear the rest of the summer. If you are regular and come to 2 races a month, it supports and promotes the classes you are interested in running. HT does try to fit in what you wish to run, within reason.

Sorry I was not trying to stir up anything, just with a lot jumping on the WGT class because of the low cost, I was not sure if was a class had interest. Personally I will run what is offered rather then trying to change what you have. I have been jobless for all most a year, so I do not get out all the time. Last year I was working on my Nitro program, but the cost is to high for a jobless person, in 2009. And with the Nationals in the midwest, this is really disappointing to me.
I wanted to find out what the rules of the stock class are, so I have the right stuff. I do not currently have a 17.5 motor, so if that was the new rules, I would need to purchase one. If it is 13.5, no problem I have motors for this. I just need to dust off the TC car and get ready to race locally for 2009. I only made one race last year, because like I said above, I was working on the Nitro program.
Again, I'm just trying to stay within your current rules.
My sponsor (my wife) is not as generous as Howard's wife... LOL!!!!!!

Cheesecake - Last year the mini class was a Tamiya silver can class. At that time batteries were not discussed. My friends and I ran from 2500 to 4200's. But, no one really discussed it. We had a lot fun and good clean racing. In this economy it's a very attractive class.

Cheesecake - As far as I know, in the case of batteries it was run whatever you had. If your thinking about an M03M you may want to look at this website http://www.rocousa.com/tamiyasale.htm. I have never ordered from that site and the shipping is high, but the price is good.

Support a hobbyshop, especially a hobbyshop that runs a track you race at.

Stock has always been defined as 20t and above a 13.5 BL would fit within those guidlines (not 10.5) 6 cell/2C battery open on everything else.
