If you'll be at iHobby tomorrow stop and say hello at Strictly's parking lot track. It's 3 minutes away from the tradeshow.

We're at 7719 W. Lawrence in Norridge from 8:30am until about 7pm. Racing is it 1pm.

Hey SavageChick,

If you are going to be at the iHobby Expo today (Sunday) please head over to the monster truck track, and ask for Vince, I've got some questions. I remember talking to a woman today at the monster truck track asking questions about what monster trucks we are running but I'm not sure if that was you or not.

Great to see some light in Indoor electric offroad, a place that possibly cant be the enormus size of Leisure Hours for a 17.5 class!

Kenji, When do you think you'll make it up to the track on Saturday? Joe and I are going to try and come up there in the morning. We have to get back to run the Oval. I t will be good to see yoiu agian. We are getting close to indoor time for us. We might be able to stretch the outdoor racing out for another 5 weeks like last year but we will see. Then it is indoor we go. Maybe we can swing by and see your track as well.

Will it be racing during the week or on the weekends?

Leisure Hours is still closer for me, but this sounds cool. I do miss on-road...although off-road is fun.

Hey Vince- Sorry but I didn't see this message until now. I checked out the monster truck track but it wasn't me asking the questions. I have been playing with monster trucks for a long time, and once you get to know me you will probably think I am insane for my large collection of cars and trucks.. lol

Basically right now, its a build it and they will come kind of attitude. For now, the hours will be starting on Halloween 10/31:

Fridays: 5:30pm - Midnight
Saturdays: 10am - Midnight
Sunday 10am - 10pm

The track is a work in progress, the more input and help that we get from the members the more options, and improvements that will be added. Remember this is a start up track.

Depending on attendance and the people who show up, more days and hours will be added. At the Open house I will be polling everyone on types of cars, and types of racing that you would like to see. From this data the specific class times will be set.

Here is a pic of the track in progress....

The inside track, is the dirt oval track for onroad cars.
The track around it is the off road track.. note: the jumps and bumps, etc have not been installed at this point of the pic.

Pic testing some washboard bumps with a buggy, truggy and truck:

The tracks are located inside a 100ft x 65ft new barn.

Can't this weekend Donnie, sorry. My kid's football seasons are still going on and that eats up Friday's and Saturdays.

Being that you'll have 5 weeks to go......I spoke with a bunch of the Strictly regulars and they want to head down and give you a little Trans Am show before you open up downtown.
