Default XXX CR gearing for Stock class

Putting together a XXX CR buggy for Jason to run in the Stock buggy class and was wondering if anybody could give me some direction in spur and pinion gearing. The stock spur is 78 I believe.

Thanks in advance, Keith and Jason.

You will want to get a 6.0-7.0 FDR for stock buggy. I am not sure if Losi has small enough spur gears to work with large pinions though. I know a B4 for stock buggy should run a 28-30T pinion with a 72T spur.

I believe I am running 31/78 in my buggy. My setup is the Matt Chambers setup if you go to the Losi web site.

Cool, thanks for the starting point. I should have it ready for the next SNF for sure.

Keith.

I didn't see anything in that post about sway bars, but I guess I will assume no sway bars for stock, how about mod?
