Midwest Triclone Carpet Oval 07/08
This Saturday Oct 27th is the first carpet race of the year. Track opens Saturday at 7:30am with racing at 1:30. Friday the track is open for practice.
Last year was a great year averaging 30-45 and we expect more great turnouts this year. There will be a good crowd of Losi sliders along with all the pan cars. If anyone has a touring car they want to run as long as theres enough they'll race them.
Tentative classes:
Losi Sliders
Latemodel 13.5
17.5
13.5
10.5
Next race date is Nov 10th
Nov 23/24th is the Thanksgiving Oval Challenge
Full schedule is up at www.triclone.net
The track is open on fridays for practice.
And as always theres free "trophies" after racing
See you at the track!

Great racing!
In typical Triclone fashion it was another great day of racing! I think there were 40+ cars, 8 heats total.
Mini Sliders, Mini 1/18th's
TQ and Winner Etchy
Etchy had the best handling sprinter all day but Greg Tennies in the rent-a-ride did a great job and finished 2nd. Russ won the B main.
Latemodel:
TQ and Winner Mike Hartman
Mike kept it clean for most of the race and stayed in front of Barry Maas.
13.5
TQ:Jeff Skomski
Winner: Curt Hartman
Dick Hooper won a very exciting B main, and I beleive Tom Hack won the C main.
Curt kept it clean the whole race and held off the hard charging Skom for the win. Sr. put the wood to Wood a few times and kept Bruce who had a fast car from moving up the grid.
10.5
TQ: Hays 4th
Winner: Jason Hack
Jason managed to hold off a late charge from Corey to take home the win.
There was super close racing in all classes. Any of the top 5 (Skom,Curt,Hays Sr, Wood, Lloyd) cars in 13.5 could have taken home the win Top 3 cars in 10.5 qualified within a second of eachother(Myself,Jason,Corey). Thanks to Dave,Bob and Dennis. Congrats to the winners and see everyone in 2 weeks Sat. Nov 10th!

Another great race day
46 entries again! The slider class grew in size and looks like its gonna keep getting bigger. Dave Hilpert took the TQ and win with Greg Tennies coming in a strong 2nd. Danny D put down a can of old school smack down in 10.5 with a TQ and win. Curt Hartman took the TQ and win in 13.5. Lots of great racing once again. Next race is the Thanksgiving race!
