Just got word that a new hobbyshop is opening in Schaumburg. A new Hobbytown. It will be interesting to see if they have room somewhere for a track.

It opens October 1. I don't have the exact address yet. But it's near Higgins and Golf. We'll be racing there for one day October 7, weather permitting.

Late this Fall and through the Winter, there will be indoor on road electric racing at Underground RC at 55th and State St.,in Chicago. The schedule is being worked out right now. You could make it there from Hillside in under 30 minutes.......

I went to the naperville hobbytown and there is absolutely nothing going on that anywhere resembles a track... Yes there is a store next door to them but it has for lease signs all over the windows and a look inside and it looks like it should after a clothing store should when they close up the doors.

Nothing better then running NITRO 1/8th inside a building.....imagine those SOUND and hte smell of NITRO that will kill yourself....I am looking forward for that. Still a better drive then to Wisconsin.....
Nexus, indoor electric and nitro @ underground.....SOUNDS good to me.
It would be nice that the HT Naperville is a real GO....that is still very close to me.
